Reviews
The Oxford Handbook of Clinical Medicine has long been a favourite source of evidence-based clinical information amongst medical students and junior doctors. With the popularity of mobility, this original chunky paperback book can now be slimmed down to a few megabytes on a pocket PC. Now, who wouldn't want that? The whole installation/update process is pain free. The OHCM6 interface in nicely laid out. The contents and index makes it easy to navigate through the handbook's hugeamount of content. The bookmarks and history feature allows you to backtrack through favourite and previously-viewed content. If you wanted to achieve something similar with the actual book, you'd have a hundred Post-it notes everywhere! Not a pretty sight, in my opinion. I think the electronicversion is well worth the money spent.
