    Robust but fiddly combination lock.

    Outwardly chunky item but combination lock a little fiddly and difficult to see in low light conditions. Time will tell how waterproof it is but looks like it can handle the extremes of the UK weather.

    I thought it would be worth paying more for Yale

    I was expecting really good quality having payed extra for a Yale branded product. Although the quality of the actual hardware is good this product has a serious design flaw. It has a large hole in the back so if it is prised off the wall you can get the keys out without opening the safe.

    Very solid construction. Easy to fit, although supplied fixing screw heads easy to damage with power driver. Numbers on the combination not easy to read, making life difficult at night. That said, still a good buy.

    Quality product.

    The box itself is a very good quality cast item with visible digits on the tumbler. The only 'poor' part is the pack of fixing screws - smaller diameter than the holes and short - which wouldn't give a particularly secure fixing if used. Apart from that, an excellent item with a reliable name.
