Modes like Playoffs, Tournament, Home Run Derby, and All-Star Game are included. Triple Play 99 keeps track of every stat, players have their unique stances, and pitchers have their favorite pitches. The sound and commentary are top quality. Announcers do play by play accurately, talk about player stats, and even do a little comedy when the game gets slow. Triple Play 99 is a complete baseball game.

    Great value on older game

    I just bought this game online at a great price. Haven't played any playstation games in years so I'm very rusty. But I really like this game because it addresses that aspect. When seting up to play, the game asks for the player's experience level. So if I chose begginer, the CPU helps with things like fielding and base stealing. As I get better, I can change my staus to pro or even all-star. The only downside is the game graphics are outdated, but then again it is a 10 year old game. The game is also relatively easy to use, as a pitcher I can chose what pitch I want to throw by selecting any of the buttons (i.e. X is fastball and O is changeup). I can use the arrow pad to guide the ball once its been released. As a batter, X is used to swing at the ball. Overall, I think its a ...

    Old School fun!

    This game is not as clear graphics as new games, but you wouldn’t expect it to be. It’s from 1999. We live the old game better than the new one though and with a simple hdmi adapter we’re able to play it on our new computer. Oldie but goodie!!!!

    really good for '99 baseball game

    I just got this game for SUPER CHEAP and I really liked it. Was really worth the $3 with shipping. I played this game for a good hour, the graphics are ok esp. for a game from 1999. The players are ones I grew up watching and really liked the blast from the past.
