- w***8 (108)- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseIt is very noisy at 12v - would not suit an audio amp at that noise level - I reduced the voltage to 5v (12v with 50 ohm 2 watt resistor in series) - still runs fine but much less noise (and CFM obviously) and it worked very well for a Class A amp I built - Normally heatsink was about 60 C - this brings it down to 45 C with minimal fan noise.
