Don't fix it if it ain't broke! For budgets up to £200 you won't find better!
Whilst this is an older design from Logitech, they did something very, very right years ago and so just kept making it. This 2.1 system is honestly, a little mind-blowing for the cost. The highs and mids are crisp and separated, the sound stage is largely open and the whole system has opened up and a gained a little more warmth after a week or so of break in time. The sub. Well, the sub is something else. I'm not entirely sure where logitech thought this set up would go in your house but they market it as computer speakers so that's where mine is. The bass has very good (but not exceptional) clarity and absolutely fills a room with thick, dense, thundering bass. It truly can shake your insides and surroundings. Though as a side note, I can't put the volume of this system past about 60% without risking deafening myself. The 200w RMS is astonishingly loud from such an unassuming looking system with none to very slight distortion when you get up into volumes that you wouldn't want to listen at anyway. The looks are understated and a refreshing change from all the garish RGB lighting on EVERY PC-RELATED ITEM these days and though it won't be winning any beauty pageants, it fits my space nicely and doesn't stick out amongst my black PC case and desk. Not that it matters as you'll want to sit back and close your eyes while listening to uncompressed music on these (seriously, stop using MP3 people). And don't think it's all about music either, movies and video games feel incredible to play with gunshots whizzing past you, the roar of your engine, the rumble of artillery raining down as you run towards the end of the level... The THX certification really does mean something as the 3D positioning is very good for a 2.1 which I was pleasantly surprised by. How much more can I say really? It's an exceptional piece of audio equipment for the money and I can't recommend it enough.Read full review

These speakers are great especially that they are only 2.1 and almost half the price they are in the shops. The bass is very loud. There are videos on YouTube which show how to set them up but they are wrong. You do not put the green wire from your PC to the speaker you connect it to the subwoofer, the ports on the side of the speaker are for additional devices like headphones and such. Overall I would recommend these.

Very impressed.
I went from using my echo spot to these so naturally the quality was going to be a lot better. I bought these for my home office (thanks covid) and honestly they're a lot better than a I bargained for. The sub is large and the speakers aren't the smallest but I don't think they're obscenely large. If you love your music, games or movies on your computer you'll find it hard to get better value for money.

Fantastic ..... extremely powerful.
I could not belive the sound from such a small system. I've owned the logitech z4 for years and at 80w was loud enough for a living room speaker system for my pc. Then i bought this beast ... The bass from this literally shakes the house lol , it's chest thumpingly brilliant . I was sent the 400w model and can't be happier. The only bad point is that it's going to really p!ss my neighbours right off lol .... oh well!.

Pleasing to both ears and eyes.
I had owned a set of logitech z 506's for quite a while and to be honest I had been very happy with the reproduction from those. minor problem they took up more space on my desktop than I could afford, so I kept a lookout for some 2.1 speakers, Well a set of logitech 623's came up locally at a very good price; so I figured "go for it" Got them home and hooked up - OMG what a difference to be honest the old 506s 5.1 system was good BUT the 623 2.1 stereo somehow is even better, the clarity, the bass, and the volume - well that's something else @ 200 watts RMS 400 max, the bass does seem a little heavy but that is controllable via a knob on the right side speaker. For pure looks I think they are very pleasing. Too be honest IF this set dies I would not have a problem in buying another set!
