    Top quality, nice and smooth. Very dense, nonmagnetic. Feels and sounds completely solid. Have not performed displacement or resistivity tests, but as far as I can tell it's all Cu. Lovely piece, would shop here again.

    Terrible news–I noticed after a few weeks that the wand was not oxidising as expected, so I took a blowtorch to it. The telltale styrene vapour unfortunately reveals that these wands are lacquered. Some may prefer this, but if you're buying a Cu product for any of its usual properties (germ-killing, cool to the touch, spiritual), you should know that you're going to have to do some serious torching and/or chemistry to this thing to reveal the pure Cu.
