  • The Telephone starring Whoopi Goldberg

A classic. This is the first movie that I had ever seen with Whoopi in it and it is very, very good. It is somewhat satirical but very funny in the right perspective. She portrays a psychotic whose only contact with the rest of society is her telephone, which is her constant and only companion during the course of the movie. Poignant, dramatic, well written, and suspensful with an unexpectedly hilarious ending that compares to Portnoy's Complaint, Alfred Hitchcock and The Twilight Zone. I found it humorous, enlightening and useful in real life comparisons. A delightful must see for Whoopi fans. It is an older, unusual movie, but not a dissappointment, just different than her newer, more modern ones. Very origional.

  • "The Telephone" staring Whoopi Goldberg.

I love this movie. I saw it as a kid and just thought it was crazy and hilarious. I think you have to have a twisted sense of humor for this movie!
