    Great Movie about the Space Race Era

    I recently re-watched this 1983 movie again on DVD after seeing it in the theaters over 35 years ago. The movie is still very entertaining and shows a lot of NASA history during the Space Race era when the United States was competing with the Soviet Union. The actors did a great job and it's cool to see how young they were when they made the movie. I plan to watch it often as I'm a former Space 🚀 Launch engineer and enjoy all movies and documentaries about Space. I was just a young kid during this era of our history I think the directors, producers, and actors did an awesome job. This is one of the best Space-related movies to come out of Hollywood! A must see for Space Junkies and Rocket Runners.

    SUPER HISTORY IN THIS FILM

    This movie IS GREAT! I highly recommend it. It will make you laugh and cry. Yes, Eugene Cernan is the last man to have walked on the moon for now, but maybe we'll go back! Astronauts are a rare breed. After watching the movie I decided to read the book. It too is very good. Thanks Tom Wolfe for your investigative and writing skills. My husband wrote The Pictorial History of the Flying Tigers and I sure wish he and Tom Wolfe could get together and do a movie about them.
