    brilliant

    i have purchased this item and can honestly say they are brilliant iam a cable engineer for the fibre industry and have used these everyday for a year and i cut 20mil down to 5mil with the same cutters my work mates always want to use them as they are simple and easy, im due for a few more soon so will be buying them here,

    Okay, but disappointing!

    I bought these cutters to use for cutting up rubber hose lengths to plumb in an oil cooler on my car. A waste of time really, because they couldn't cope with the hose. Rather than cut the rubber hose, they just squashed it. I had to revert to the old trusty hacksaw! I guess these will be alright for much smaller diameter flexible plastic hoses or slightly larger rigid hoses. Even though the jaws open up to 34mm, I bet the tube would have to have a thin wall for the blade to cut through it. Disappointing, but for less than a fiver I think I was pushing my luck to expect anything better.

    Lightweight but simply not up to the tasks specified

    I have been plumbing for many years and so have used a multitude of tools. But I can honestly say with hand on my heart that you would be better off throwing your money down the drain rather than purchase these cutters. They really are an inferior product and will not cut the pipe that they are supposed to. I should of just purchased a tried and tested cutter that I have used previous but I made the mistake of reading the reviews for this item which I can only presume are completely fictitious because honestly they are complete crap. My fault because my head was telling me that you get what you pay for and this item really is not fit for purpose.

    Good inexpensive pipe cutting tool for all sorts of hard plastic pipe. Use mine most days and it's always handy and does the job.
