    new to help fix the old

    if you have a newer door that hasn't had the holes drilled and had a small latch hook then this is for you. but if you have a old door that requires the larger latch and comes out more. I was able to use two parts to fix my old latch.

    Great product and price

    A simple, non-ornate handle is hard to find in my local stores. HD has them, but only online. Loews only has ornate ones. The price here was lower than HD online, so this was a no brainer. Easy to install and very sturdy.

    got a few more years out of a screen door

    My old screen door latch broke after several years. The internal parts were cracked and broken. This one had the correct hole spacing and is a near exact fit. I did have to snip about 3/16" off the end of the long plastic pin, as described in the instructions, to make it fit my thin door.
