I bought the book to learn how to properly wear the kilt. There are many casual and formal differances to wearing the kilt. There are even a few things that can cause you to inadvertently be insulting, and even break the law. The book goes into very good detail on discribing what to wear with the kilt for informal(casual), daytime, and evening(formal). The illistrations are very good, and detailed. Also goes into detail on finding a tartan. There are even instructiond on how to save money, by making some of your owne accessorys. With the celtic heratige making a comeback, and people going to the differant festivals. It's important to weat your ansestral clothes properly
Great book, tons of info. Excellent reference for beginner and experienced kiltie alike. Great reading and book has compact size so you can tuck it away quite easily.
This is a great overview of what is correct and what is just out right not done. It was easy to read and vary informative. There wasn't anything about this book that i didn't like. If you are going to wear a kilt the i recommend this book above all others.
