    The Best

    I have used this for years. I can't find it in the grocery stores very often so I buy it on line. It makes a lot for one package so you can make it up and freeze some for later. I have not found anything else that has the same great flavor.

    Good Authentic Flavor in a Pack

    Being from Terrebonne Parish and having eaten the area mainstays for 70 years, I found this product to be exceptional and a cut above some others available. While many may rightfully argue that Gumbo "should" be made from scratch, this product will yield a delicious flavor with minimal effort. I use it in lots of other dishes besides classic Gumbos. Unlike some mixes, this Gumbo Base does not assume a preference or requirement for vast quantities of Cayenne.

    Great Taste

    I make gumbo a lot during the winter, this is a great starter. I add diced tomatoes, frozen veggie and all the meat I can. The broth is out of this world, I been told some people use it as gravy base, I haven't do that yet. Try it and I know you will like it and don't forget to make plenty of rice.

    Louisiana Cajun Gumbo Base is the best!
