I purchased the Vax Spot Wash to clean my sofa and car seats, it left them like new, it got rid of old stains after just 1 application. I like the self cleaning feature too, it leaves the machine looking and smelling like new. It really is a must have item for every home. In my opinion, this will literally pay for itself, after 1 or 2 uses, when compared to calling out a professional to do what you can do yourself. 10/10

I bought this as it is small and to clean two, two seater sofas and the stairs and landing carpets. It came with 250ml of solution that has done two rear cushions of one of my sofas and an arm which were highly dirty as the dog sits on them. It bought out a lot of the dirt but the tops probably need doing again. I would advise using the 250ml bottle for a smaller area, however it does depend on how dirty the area is. The item is small and compact which is partially why I bought it as I do not have room for a large device. Item is easy to use and as long as cleaning head is used correctly picks up a lot of the water, although does leave area slightly damp that takes 12 hours to dry. I would recommend for small areas, however if your whole house is carpeted or you have a lot of fabric furniture I suggest going for something larger.Read full review
