    Great little razor

    My original Philishave razor had lasted many years as my go to portable razor, sadly it failed recently and the replacement just had to be the latest Philishave battery model. The usual high quality, the ease and portability and all at a great price too.

    Lightweight and inexpensive!

    On the downside, there is no cleaning brush or carrying case. First impression is that it could do with a more powerful motor but compared to my old foil-type shaver, the shave is good and the machine remarkably quiet. Removeable batteries (2 X 'AA') is good: built-in batteries mean shaver is u/s when batteries die so you won't have this problem and rechargeables are probably a worthwhile investment for frequent use. Overall, I am quite pleased and would recommend if you are looking for something inexpensive with acceptable performance.

    Does the job. Why pay more?

    It's small, it's cheap, you don't have to throw it away when its internal battery packs up - and it does the job! I was looking for replacement blades for my old one (after years of service), but this was so cheap I bought a new one instead. There is one down side: my old one came with a neat carrying case, this doesn't have one.
