Product Information

DIFF'RENT STROKES aired from 1978-1986, taking place in Manhattan and centring on the story of the Drummond family. Phillip Drummond (Conrad Bain) is a wealthy, penthouse-dwelling widower who lives with his teenage daughter Kimberly (Dana Plato); in fulfilment of the dying wishes of his former housekeeper, he has taken in her two sons, Willis (Todd Bridges) and Arnold Jackson (Gary Coleman), ghetto youths from Harlem whose fish-out-of-water status in their new home forms the comedic basis of the show. In the first series, the boys try to escape back to Harlem, Willis finds (and loses) his first job, Willis gets up to all kinds of mischief, and incredulous friends and relatives of both families come to visit.

    Wow - Its was great to go back to the 70's again!

    This dvd set is was so freshing to watch again, takes you back to the good old days in the 70's. " Whatchoo talking bout Willis" the well known phrase from the series just makes you laugh all over again. Tells the story of how Willis and Arnold joined the "then" unusual situation of becoming part of a white family making a hilarious household. Gary Coleman who played Arnold is just a cute as i remember. Fantastic!

    Blast from the past !!!

    If it's possible to get my 15 yr old daughter to laugh you have done bloody well. (She has no sence of humor at all) But listening to her watching these dvd's is something to behold. If you can remember this series (why hav'nt you bought it ???) By it just to watch 'Arnold@ again.
