Spiral without definitions--
A fairly good movie, but one with some flaws in the story and structure that keep it out of the excellent category. Spoilers? "Misidentification" and miscommunication are key to the story, but too much of WHY something is happening was unexpressed, so what could have been gripping turned into something that was almost gripping-- a bid difference. The writing about the main character, someone who has severe physical health and mental issues, was clean, but not clear at times, and the "what was driven by what" was underaddressed, so it almost appeared as if something bad happened to him, once upon a time, and now he is copying that behavior-- but no one notices because they all assume he has "imaginary friends" instead of real people being involved. While the other characters are fairly well drawn, their "playing" comes off as more cartoonish, or too broad, at least compared to the Amber character. Combine that with underwritten roles, it's good, just not great. The most honest way of putting it is that it is kind of interesting, but Hitchcock it is not. .

Good idea with a bad execution
The premise of this movie is actually very well thought out. However, the execution is just silly. The events are predictable and the ending leaves the viewer with a sense of disappointment. As I watched, there was a hope that the story didn’t “spiral” around the single foreseeable revelation to be revealed at the end. Unfortunately, that is exactly what happened. The lead character’s psychosis was pushed too far in an effort to fill the storyline gaps. As a result, the viewer never really connects with that character. The other two main characters are never fully developed and their interactions outside the relationship with the main character also feel like gap fillers. I really enjoy a suspense thriller that leaves you guessing what is going to happen next. This movie was not ... The premise of this movie is actually very well thought out. Definintely NOT a Horror Movie
I bought this movie because I love horror movies...this is definintely not a horror movie in the least bit. It is a good movie though and if you like psycho thrillers it's not bad. The other downside is the story line never develops and you have no idea why the characters are the way they are. If they took the time to explain the characters pasts the movie might have flowed better and perhaps end up being a horror movie. The ending is simply that..the end. I can't recommend this movie to a horror fan but psycho-thriller, not bad.I bought this movie because I love horror movies...this is definintely not a horror movie in the least bit. I decided to buy this dvd when I saw a preview for it on the movie "Hatchet". Unfortuantly, finding this movie in stores was not an easy task and I failed at that, So I was absolutely thrilled to find it here on ebay. It was as good as I hoped it to be! Excellent movie! and I would recommend it to anyone!!!
