    A book of beautiful Victorian dresses

    If you love to look at old vintage photography or Victorian era dresses you will love this book. It is filled with clear photos on nice paper. Each photo has a brief description and each chapter has a description of the fashion for that style/decade and a little on day to day living in that period. I bought it for reference and inspiration for my sewing. It is a great photographic reference book for sewing historically accurate dresses. This book combined with antique fashion plates and historical patterns is very useful for sewing. Basically it’s helpful to see photos of the real thing.
