Xiii, 364 pp. Index. 2 maps. Small octavo in original dark blue, publishers pebbled cloth with blind ruling. Spine is sunned,, gilt title and ruling. Minimal shelf wear to covers, back cover, has small dring and top back corner is toed-in, interior paper, is a bit toned but otherwise clean and unmarked. Sturdy,, handsome copy. Earle was a writer and university professor (20, years at Princeton) who specialized in economics and politics, and was particularly interested in the effects of stronger, countries against the weaker ones. He consulted with the U. S., Government during WWII and was instrumental in setting up an, analytics department within the OSS.
