However, despite the few incidents of violence and behind the chaos, there was a great vibe and even greater music. Great video of an incredible experience
I purchased the woodstock '99 video tape in 2000 when it was first released. Back then, I didn't have a DVD player yet, so I went with VHS. I am now buying this on DVD since everything I now own is in that format. This video almost serves as a documentary, telling the story of how the weekend unfolded. It not only shows the artists that performed, but also documents the activities of the weekend. You can almost feel the searing heat as you watch. This takes me back to Rome, NY in the summer of 1999.... I was there and can remember every bit of the experience. This video is a wonderful journey back to one of the major concert events (not to mention one of the most newsworty concerts) of our time. Great Concert!
If you like "Woodstock" you will like this. hay... Lets face it there never was, And never will be another "Woodstock" But that said. This was a fun DVD. I love to watch Concerts, so this was a welcome add to my Concert DVD's I liked it and will watch it again!

awesome movie
if you like 90s rock you will love this. i had this movie as a kid but had forgotten about it until i saw a clip of Flea playing his bass naked on youtube. then i remembered where it came from and how good of a show it was so i bought instantly off ebay.
