    Peruvian organic ginger roots benefits

    I have a habit of making fresh ginger juice to mix into my morning coffee. Recently my shop was selling "organic" ginger root from Brazil. Huge roots. Also watery and way less potent. Probably about 40% of this type of ginger, which I was used to. If the contents of good ginger are present, it does not go bad very fast in the fridge. The Brazilian juice I made went from yellowish to brown in 4 days. The product that I like here is keeping its yellow colour for 2 weeks and counting. There are lots of health benefits from good ginger.

    Very Disappointing 😔

    Unlike the top quality, fresh Peruvian ginger I have purchased on many occasions in the past, this was dryish and arrived in a sweaty plastic bag, not loose as depicted in photo.

    Fresh ginger root from Peru

    I have given four stars because even though the package said grade 1 quality it was a mixture of grade 1 and grade 2 to my observation. Importers need to be more alert and make sure that the quality matches the label.
