Seller was very helpful, as I needed to delay delivery for a few days. The equipment was exactly as described, in tip top condition, well packaged and delivered exactly when I requested.

Item used, as described, with a pleasingly vintage patina. Just the job for minimising the bulk of the fewer filters I'm using now I've downsized my camera kit. Posted Friday, arrived Monday, packed safely. Recommended seller.

Extremely well packed and exactly as described. Arrived earlier than I expected too and a great price, can’t ask for more. Would buy again.

    Typical Hoya Filter

Impossible to think filters without the name Hoya coming up. With digital camera sensors not being troubled in the least by ultraviolet wavelengths the Lens Protect filter has become an alternative to UV(0) filters being used for protective purposes. Coated with whatever wonder-stuff is used to kill reflections without impeding visible light (or at least only impeding it by minute values only detectable by spectro-photometry!), they make sense to protect vulnerable front elements. I would guess old-boys Hoya know a thing or two about optical coatings. Not guaranteed to help if you drop the lens of course, it's sheer luck if they survive that. Definitely will protect against dirt and dust, and small marks and scratches, which although they will not harm the performance of a lens in any ...

  • Hoya for quality

I purchased one of these initially to protect the front element of my L lens and was so impressed I've ordered another two for my other L lenses, this Hoya filter is an inexpensive way to protect vunarable expensive lenses from damage, the price is very good for such a high quality filter, easily a 5* product.

  • Good alternative from manufacturers filter

The Quality looks good and it is a lot cheaper than the protector filter offered by the maker of my lens ! I can see no difference in pictures with or without this filter on -- which is exactly what it is designed to do ! So ultimately if this gets damaged it will be cheaper than a new front lens element to replace !!

  • Essential accessory

I have been using one of these on a different lens for ages. I know it is a safe method to protect my lens without affecting my photo's. This one has gone on my Sigma 50-100 1.8

  • Good lens protector for optics

I think it's useless to pay more because this is just protection. Works exactly as promised - there is no comment on the quality of the product.
