BT Mini Wi-Fi Home Hotspot 600 Powerline Multi Adapter Kit
The pack came with a "master" and two "slaves", plus an ethernet cable and a set of instructions. The instructions are pretty idiot-proof, and I followed them to the letter - and was up and running in less than 10 minutes. Everything behaved exactly as the instructions said they would, and it all worked first time - which must be worthy of my five star rating, if anything is !! Excellent.

Tricky to set up, poor performance
iPad hates it. Weak wi fi security protocol. Sender and one hotspot worked well, the other hotspot wouldn’t connect to the router. Factory reset on all units, problem cleared but wi fi is SLOOOW, dreadfully SLOOOOW. Thankfully I retained my BT home hub 2 and set it as a wired repeater. Works excellently, whereas the newer kit is quite pathetic. Save your money and buy TP link units.

Works well, good coverage
Product worked well, apart from the cloning of the main Router SSID which worked for one not the other, seemed to not work very well until I reset them to factory fittings and then they worked well. The nice touch is the SSID for both network units is the same, this then means you don't have multiple SSID's in the house. I would recommend the product and the price is good.

Very good product but they are tricky to set up
I have used this product to improve wi-fi strength around me home it is additonal to ones in use already. It works. The subject of this review is set of the additonal units. I have one of two hotspots in use but so far I have not been able to get the second one to work. The difficulty with this product is the intital setting up and syncing the units to link to the base unit. The set up is not easy to do and I have found it takes patience to get right but once this is done these units work very well. I don't know yet whether the second unit is defective or it is just a problem with the setting up. Eventually found some info online and after much hassle got one to work; someone at BT should have checked this technical stuff out before the item was marketed.
