About this product

Product Information

From the creators of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney comes a new courtroom adventure, "Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney." It is the first game of the series developed specifically for the Nintendo DS. Apollo Justice is the new lawyer in town. Using the stylus, gamers examine crime scenes, interview witnesses, and present evidence in court. In the new Crime Recreation Mode, players find clues by recreating the crime scene before Apollo starts defending his client in the courtroom. During the investigation, players get to dust for fingerprints, create plaster molds, spray luminol to reveal hidden blood spatter, and more. While the court is in session, use the microphone support to yell such phrases as "objection" and "hold it." Additional gameplay consists of the Justice reading non-verbal cues to determine if a witness is lying. Solve a total of four cases, each involving a mysterious murder.

    No Issues, Great Game

I bought this for my sister a couple months ago and she said there weren't any problems with the cartridge or the game function. She finished the game earlier this month and she loved it!

  • Wacky fun!

Let me first say that I really did enjoy this game. It's got all the best Ace Attorney elements, like an adorable sidekick and a really cool prosecutor who nevertheless drives you crazy, and then it's got some of Ema Skye's new scientific tricks during investigation mode. Apollo is quite nearly as likable as Phoenix was, the witnesses and defendants are just as wacky and charming, and the design team came up with some awesome locations and background art. That having been said, my personal opinion is that this game would have been much more fun had it been totally disconnected from Phoenix Wright altogether. I spent more time wondering about why Phoenix was disbarred (and fruitlessly waiting for Maya to show up) than caring about Apollo and Trucy. For anyone who adored Phoenix's games and ...

  • Objection!! Justice is Back In The Court

This game is really good the only reason I gave it a 4 is because its a shame the original series ended. Now we have to get introduced to new characters again although it is still fun and exciting to play. Players star as rookie defense attorney Apollo Justice as he visits crime scenes, questions key witnesses and collects vital evidence before stepping into the courtroom to prove his clients' innocence. Facing Apollo across the courtroom is the highly talented and flamboyant prosecutor Klavier Gavin who, in addition to being a legal genius, is also lead singer with Gavinners, a highly successful rock band with a string of hits to their name. He may be young and inexperienced but Apollo's confident manner and passion, coupled with his unique ability to uncover witnesses' lies by studying ...

  • A pleasant continuation

For fans of the Phoenix Wright series, this is a pleasant addition. It was especially nice to have fingerprinting brought back into the game after it was introduced at the end of game one and left. The change from using the magatama to using Apollo's bracelet to "perceive" people's nervousness is a little strange, but easy to get used to. It references some of the occurrences from previous games, so it isn't the best game to start for an introduction into the Wright Universe.

  • Apollo Justice: Phoenix Wright's untold story

Brief and to the point: I enjoyed this game as a continuation to the Phoenix Wright Trilogy. The writing was very well done, which made me so into the story that I couldn't put it down. As a result, I beat this game fairly quickly, and there is little replay value. Unfortunately, I don't think the twists and turn of the cases were anything as outrageous as Trials and Tribulations, although that may be a plus for some. Purchase if you have to, or if you like to have sets; rent if available - if you are a "gamer" you will probably beat this game over the weekend. Enjoyed it while it lasted!
