This filter delivers good results with your landscapes where the sky might be blown out otherwise. Not as strong as I thought it would be in camera but it makes for a much easier and more pleasing edit in Lightroom or other photo editing programs. I use it with Canon 6D plus 24-105 mm f4 lens.

Inspite it says ND that doesn't mean that it's colorless. It gives slightly brown-yelowish coloring. That might be a problem and needed to be solved by postprocessing. Maybe answer could be to put regular ND and gradient ower it and than post process it to get right colors. Photography is experimenting as well. Ali in all god helping tool for photo enthusiasts. Have fun :)
This is a .06 graduated neutral density filter which has become quite useful and even essential to landscape photography. This round, threaded filter is far more compact than similar functioning rectangular filters which require much additional hardware. Because of the graduating of the gray to clear, the desired effect, although present, disappears in the middle of the image. For backpacking this is an ideal way to cut down on weight and still have the tool, always a challenge.

A great lens filter with no distortion even zoomed out. I use this on my 12-24 mm nikkor lens and expected some slight vignetting but it's crystal clear. Great for incremental shading at any angle eliminating more time spent on processing. Love it!!!

I have been shooting a lot of ocean sunrises and needed to tone down the brightness in the sky so I could use longer exposures to blur the wave and water action. The 0.6 ND does the trick nicely.
