    Protect and serve

    I use UV filters on all my lenses. Recently, a lens dropped from my bag. The filter smashed, but the lens (Nikon) worked perfectly. The cost of a filter compared to a new lens? Your choice! I find no difference in capturing the photo I want, with or without the filter, but the filter protects from dirt and grease, especially from fingers!

    It works good, but adds blue.

    It works good, but it's worth mentioning that it adds some extra blue to winter (snow) pictures etc., compared to no filter or the original Nikon NC. But beyond that, it's well worth the money it seems.
