Whilst the instructions say it can be fitted with double sided sticky tape this hasn't worked for me so far. Initially I thought I could fix it to the door frame with the provided screws and did my best to remove the plastic where the screws were meant to go through but unfortunately it needed a drill (which I don't have being a 70yr old female!). I thought they would have just popped out with the aid of a screwdriver but not so. I used the double sided sticky pads I had for a previous doorbell but it woke me (and the dog) up by ringing in the night. The following morning I found it on the doorstep. Have now bought new double sided sticky tape in the hope that this will work. The chimes are clear and loud enough for me on the setting it was originally fixed at. If the new sticky tape works then I would say very good value for money as opposed to my previous bell which needed new batteries every 2-3 months.Read full review

good little gadget and works o/k, but for my money it is not loud enough to carry beyond the hall to other rooms in the bungalow which is not a large one. So! Sorry, I can not recomend this to suit everybody.

This is the first doorbell we’ve bought that actually works properly and it has a “classy” bell tone which we chose (and had many others to choose from). The bell is very neat and fitted well at the front door. It was so easy to fix - no drill needed. The double-sided sticky tape was strong enough to do the job we required.

A real delight to receive, in a small compact box, with simple instructions that were clear and pretty obvious, and I had it installed and working in less than 30 seconds. This involved pulling out the plastic film that covered the battery (a small flat circular type), taking the protective film off the sticky strip, attaching it to the outdoor bell-push, and then removing the protective film on the other side of the sticky strip, attaching it to the door frame and pushing the indoor receiver into a plug socket. Oh.. and moving the little dials on the receiver to try out some different levels of sound and different 'ding-dongs'. That's it really. Nice to have some options on the volume and the 32 varieties of sound.

Very quickly to set up along with a vast array of good sounding tunes. Even Christmas tunes for that time of year. Three different volume settings and a Blue colour that comes on when both the bell push and mains unit, means even if you can`t here it, you will see it. I move mine around the house depending on what room I might be working in, but it retains the tune you have already set it to play and volume setting. So ideal to take into a garden or garage. As already stated quite a good sound quality, with three simple controls, I would recommend it.
