Earths Greatest Alliance in HD
Well i decided to buy this movie because I'm a Huge Justice League fan, and in HD DVD format it's a rare find, plus it's Dual format, works in a regular DVD player as well. Also the HD DVD version has some Exclusive stuff not even the 2 disc regular version has, like the 3 Bonus Justice League "Episodes Dark Heart, To Another Shore and Task Force X". I love this movie becasue of the classic versions of the Heroes (like in the 60s-80s), and the story (Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman under goverment suspicion). Picture is clear as day in 1080p and widescreen, and the TureHD 5.1 audio is excellent. Only thing i didn't like really..they focus abit to much on Green Lantern. I mean its nice that he finally was able to see that there is more to his life, and how he came to be Green Lantern. ... Pretty graphics in a art deco style. Storyline was so-so. Rather wish I had bought Space Odyssey 2001 instead.

Justice League: The New Frontier
The New Frontier is an animated movie based on the Silver Age DC Comics incarnation of the Justice League (set much earlier in period and style than the TV animated series). I say that primarily due to its storyline focus on the Silver Age Green Lantern and the Flash. Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman are closer to their Golden Age art styles. That said, it has a straight foward sci-fi monster movie premise. Considering the number of primary characters involved, fanboy knowledge of the DC universe isn't a prerequisit for enjoyment. The animation is far superior to the television series and there's plenty to satisfy sci-fi/comic trivia fans with the casting of voice talents such as Lucy 'Xena' Lawless and David 'Angel' Boreanez. With the exception of the recent Superman/Batman movie ...
