      What a find

      I have been looking at adding the wide-angle lens to my collection for some time. Everywhere I went, camera shops; on-line reviews and other photographers told me what a great lens the Tokina 11-16mm has been. I have not been disappointed. The images are sharp, the overall pictures are just another dimension. I think that this has been the purchase of the year and I will enjoy playing with it across the spectrum of landscapes, night sky, close up for years to come. Great quality and fantastic price.

      Noticed from first time I went out it was not in focus. Had it checked buy two professionals they said the images are not great for this particular lense. Be aware 3 party lenses

      I only use Nikon lenses but this Tokina is exceptional.

      As a professional photographer I only use Nikon lenses on all my camera bodies. I was recommended this lens by another pro as I shoot a lot of interiors and I cannot thank him enough for the recommendation. It is faster, better built and even crisper than my wide angle Nikon. It is heavier than the Nikon, but I like that in a lens and the fixed F2.8 is fantastic for all low light situations.

      Incredible lens

      In my battery of lenses for my Canon DSLR this is the only one that is manufactured by a third party. I looked at all the online reviews and then sought the advice of a professional photographer who confirmed what I had read. This lens is as good (or possibly a little better) than the Canon equivalent for significantly less money. The images it produces are razor sharp as soon as you shut down a little from the max f2.8. A great lens for real estate photography with the ability to capture superb inside images but also a cracking landscape lens with its enormous depth of field.
