    Came in an Amazon box. Here's how they packed it: open box - toss item into the bottom of the box, take some paper packing and toss it on top of item, close box, tape the seam, apply shipping label. I received the item. Shook box slightly - and you could hear the item rattling around inside the box. The item was 19 inches long - and the box was 36 inches long. Item was not damaged. If I spoke with the seller, I would suppose this reply, "We didn't do it."

    Better than expected.

    The stool is much heavier than I expected. I have seen the negative reviews about packing damage, poor quality swivel, etc. I have only had it for a few weeks, but I am very pleased up to this point. I have it in a man cave garage bar, so I expect some wear and tear, It is perfect for my needs. I ordered 1 so I could see the quality. I will order a 2 pack next.
