Limited 200 gram heavyweight vinyl pressing remastered at legendary Abbey Road Studios using the Direct to Metal Mastering (DMM) audiophile copper plating process, all from original analogue masters. Includes digital download. Counterparts is the fifteenth studio album by the Canadian rock trio. Originally released in October, 1993. Counterparts is one of the two highest-charting Rush albums in the U.S. (2012's Clockwork Angels is the other), peaking at #2. The lyrics of Counterparts continue the trends of Roll the Bones with dark and emotional themes being the primary focus. Some songs are heavy-sounding tracks like "Animate" and "Stick it Out", which topped the Billboard Album Rock Tracks chart for four weeks in late 1993, becoming the band's fifth single to do so. "Leave That Thing Alone" earned a Grammy nomination for Best Instrumental Rock Performance.

    Quality Record Pressings is horrible.

    QRP is horrible. The Counterparts LP had numerous flaws. Disc 2 was warped and disc 1 had skipping and noise. This is the 3rd Rush QRP I have had to return. It's a shame too cause Counterparts is such a great album by Rush. I will never again buy one of their pressings.
