    Highly recommended for fans of the original AND people who know nothing about it.

    I've never actually read Sherlock, and I don't ever think I will. (Entirely) I don't really like mysteries, and I scoffed at this modern version of the old books. But I was urged by a cousin to watch it, and I finally did. It was the characters that really did it for me. When you see how Sherlock and John play off of each other, and how much they just really LOVE detective work...It's a beautiful thing to see. And how they showed the brilliance of Sherlock's mind is amazing. It's a great series for anybody that likes character development and drama, especially between two men.

    love the whole series. that is why I bought the DVD. You love Sherlock Holmes from the TV off PBS then you will love this. I do not like the One on TV they have BUT this guy is great..

    M odern Sherlock

    I have always been a fan of Sherlock Holmes stories, and I really like Benedict Cumberbatch, so this is a win win in my opinion. The stories are modernized, but are interesting, so I denjoyed the plots.
