    ''APOLLO 13''. 1994.

    This past April 13th marked 53 years and 2 weeks since this incident happened. 24 years later in 1994 , a movie was made about this story and was released in theatres in July 1995. It was a big success and still is great film today. I was born 2 months later in June. James Horner did a great job with the score. I just bought the ''4-K ULTRA'' a.k.a SUPER HIGH DEFINITION blu-ray version for the first time. I can't wait to see this in that version. i know it looks fantastic.

    Title says it all!

    Enjoyed watching it this time more than previously. This is one of the best movies ever, dealing with a real situation, and relying on actual astronaut and NASA employees input. Yes, Hollywood took some liberties, but not on the major events. Tom Hanks is to be commended for doing his research here, which added to the overall. Ron Howard did a super job in getting some tough shots in and "space" situations explained. Well done! Really loved watching the movie a second time, hearing Lovell give the account of what took place.
