Thoughtfully Brings the Bible Alive For Young and Old Alike!
The author tells the stories of the Bible in a way that gets us to think and feel as if we were there. It's amazing. Also, this series of books is useful not just for children, but also for adults I can't recommend it highly enough. I recently first became aware of this work by seeing Volume 1 in a dentist's office, and I knew then that I wanted to read more. The quality of the book--the paintings, the hardy paper, etc.--is tremendous. I believe most everybody are familiar with these books. If you've ever been to a doctor's office I'm sure they had one. I read the whole set through about 25 years ago that I had borrowed from a friend. I've always wanted a set so I finally ordered one. Make sure you get the King James version as they have several others. I did not rate it as a good value because I don't believe the books are worth $17 each.
