I have since discovered that BMW made some slight changes to my model during 2013, which presumably slightly changed the shape and fitment of the gearstick and gaiter. Having said that, it is in no way the fault of the seller, just an issue with the vehicle's year of manufacture. I would definitely use this seller again based on speed of delivery and customer service
