Product Information

The 2010-released edition of the popular game show title features more than 8,000 phrase-based puzzles, original "commercial break" mini-games, and virtual, big-headed versions of hosts Pat Sajak and Vanna White. Wheel of Fortune is a word game in which players take turns guessing letters to gradually reveal the hidden phrase in a puzzle. The amount of money awarded for solving the puzzle depends on the values of the letters the player correctly guesses, determined by spinning a large, colorful wheel. The contestant with the most money after several rounds of play wins the game, and earns the opportunity to try for additional prizes in a bonus round. A flick of the Wii Remote spins the onscreen wheel, and the game supports the Wii Speak microphone accessory to allow players to guess letters and solve puzzles aloud. As many as three home players can compete in a standard match, with the computer controlling the additional contestants in single-player and two-player games.

    Great game! Great price!

    I was excited to own this Wheel of Fortune game for my family's WiiU console. My sons are the primary users of gaming systems but I thought this game would be fun for me (and maybe fun/educational for them too). We have played a few times so far -- what a great game! I like that there is a choice to play without and with game-generated players and I also like that there are three different puzzle difficulty levels. So far we have only played 'Easy' with my sons. I am excited to try the other two more challenging levels. One aspect of the game that I wasn't aware of that my sons (ages 9 and 13) and I have found amusing is the option for the players to have their contestants express emotions. My 13 year old son is especially fond of having his contestant moan when my contestant is ...

    So Much Fun!

    I'd love to give 5 stars but......... The game is so much fun but if you use the microphone it has limitations. It's still better than not using a mic but you have to really YELL THE LETTERS OR PHASE OUT. I purchased the Wii microphone and then purchased different ones. No change in response. The game is still so much fun and we really enjoy playing the game. I'm gonna research to find out if this can be fixed. Either way if you like the show you'll have fun with the software version.

    Was better than I thought it would be. Most of these types of games are pretty boring. It was like watching the show and the contestant taking your suggestion on the letters that you would have them pick. Great fun!
