    Good device

    This switch is used in my entertainment center controlled by a logitech one remote. It replaced a similiar product which burned out after about 5 years. This product does not require a power cord and senses the active channel and switches to it. For my needs, I actually preferred the old one that I control exclusively with the logitech. The logitech is programmed to change the switch position. However, if multiple devices are left on the switch may change itself to the unwanted device. Except for that, it is a great value.

    Great switch must have

    This switch is small, lightweight and is powered by what's plugged into it. It only turns on when a component is on and easy switching between them. Hands down one of the best gadgets. High quality and looks great!

    This one works! Don't buy a cheap Chinese plastic HDMI switch!

    Needed to connect my Mac Mini, Samsung Tab S4 HDMI +2 adapter, and Blu-ray player to one of my two Vizio 40" TV HDMI ports. The other port was dedicated to my Fire TV Stick. Tried an adapter that cost me more than this one, that I bought at Target. The LEDs would light up for active inputs, but only the Blu-ray player would throughput the HDMI selector. I see that some of the HDMI selector switch reviews for products on Amazon complain of the same issue. That the Blu-ray player is eight years old suggests that an obsolete HDMI chipset in the switch is the problem. This IOGear HDMI switch works great! And the metal case is hefty enough to hold the unit down flat, instead of twisting and flopping around from stiff cables.
