    A Film Classic..

    Who would have guessed that this movie would become a cult classic ? Al Pacino shows as Tony Montana a raw intensity that is to become his trademark portrayal in future characters . Michelle Pfeiffer gives a standout performance , a far cry from a previous character she played- LOL !! her reaction when Tony drove up in that car with it's hideous interior. The casting is first rate , especially liked the powerful scene between Tony and his mother when he tries to give her (Dirty ) money , very riveting Brian De Palma did a excellent job of directing this "ultra" violent film, from what I have known ,the chainsaw scene is not too far off the mark when it comes to drug involvement within the cartel . The deluxe set is a must have for die-hard fans of this genre , lots of goodies -- ...
