I received the 1981 version of this book with a completely different cover from the listing photos which leads me to believe it was an intentio al switch. The book was still in good condition, but definitely not what was listed.

Turns out the handles have a matte finish while bowls of the spoons are shiny. Probably would’ve passed if I had known, but with a roughly $15 purchase price (including shipping), a no-return policy in place and a seller with almost perfect feedbacks I didn’t want ‘an item not as described’ complaint on their record. The shipping price was fair. Once I finally received the piece, the head and body of the bird was sticky, not from packaging. I had to clean it with an antibacterial cleaner, as I had no idea what it was. So I wouldn't say the item was "as described." For the price I paid, a long wait and having to clean the item I guess it was worth the price.
