Its AF-S/ED/HRI/VR lens features both auto and manual focus and is designed to be used with Nikon Digital SLR bodies. It has a 3.4-inch diameter and weighs 38.4 oz. What's more, the nonstick glass makes it easy to wipe away the dirt and smudges.

    Great lens

    I got this lens for real estate and landscape photography and it exactly what I hoped for. The image is laser sharp, the range of focal lengths makes the lens very versatile and in the end it has replaced a couple of other prime lenses from my bag. It is not a cheap lens, but worth every penny.

    Amazing glass

    This professional grade lens had been worth all that I have had to do in saving up to purchase it. While it is very expensive it offers the zoom flexibility of three of my prior lenses together and without giving up any quality. It saves so much time in not having to switch lenses so often and has the same sharpness and clarity of a fixed lens and of course the amazing low f stop. Plus the company I purchased it from is very courteous, straight forward and easy to do business with. Kudos to them for selling a superb product in an equitable and fair manner.

    All-around workhorse of the highest caliber.

    This has to be one of the better quality, higher functioning, versatile lenses ever made. The auto-focus is super quick. I love the VR Modes. It is relatively heavy compared to newer plastic equipment. I'm using it on a D7000 body. Beware that this lens does not work with many older bodies. Just check the compatibility list. I love this lens. It is pricey for sure, but it is a 'daily driver' lens for life!

    My new Nikkor 24-70mm f2.8E VR lens is proof of Nikon's commitment to producing high quality photo equipment for both professionals and advanced DSLR users. The indoor and outdoor shots produced thus far have been sharp and equal to those described in Nikon's advertising material.
