A very good 1957-60 Smiths De Luxe A.420 from the "Everest" range, popularly known as the "engineers' watch". It appears in the 1957-58, and 1960 extant Smiths catalogues (Barry Smith lists also 1959, but there is no catalogue for that year). The movement number 325069 suggests c.1957 which sits well with the catalogue dates. The original, blue dial has aged (as all do) to a wonderful bronze. Very pleased. An excellent seller, highly recommended!
