    Consumerlab approved Melatonin

    One of the top sleep medicine doctors in the U.S. recommends this brand as well as the independent testing lab, Consumers.com. Smaller doses of melatonin are hard to find. The recommendation is to take the smallest dose that works. There is some evidence that larger doses can suppress the body's own production of Melatonin. It is a hormone and there is no good evidence of the long term effects of using it. "Less is more"

    300mcg is the right dosage

    300mcg is all most people need. Taking much more can cause issues I've read, especially at the 3-5mg+ range which can mess up your natural sleep patterns.
