    Warewolf with a twist

    Jack Nickolson gives a great performance which is low on special effects and high on emotion. New take on an old theme that humanizes the characters. The idea of heightened senses and new found confidence. The premise that the one infected by the wolf not by his bite, but also by passion. I enjoyed this film when I first saw it and really wanted to add it to my collection. Great cast Jack Nicholson, Michelle Pfeiffer, James Spader and Christopher Plummer.

    Well developed Characters making a very well done movie 4/5 Stars ****

    anything that Jack Nicholson is in is usually always good...and in this movie he doesn't disappoint...this movie get right into it from the start...excellent cast...I wish there was more from the Kate Nelligan's Character, I really enjoy her as an actress especially in the 1979 Dracula...Michelle had a solid performance...and I am not a James Spader fan...but he too had a solid performance on this one...and thumbs up to Christopher Plummer...the support cast on this one was good too except the detective and his partner in this one...Rick Baker's Make up Effects for this movie was BANG on...the werewolf look was not over done and was a lot more relaxed compared to other werewolf movies, but came across very effective...it was all in the EYES with this movie...the animatronics on the wolves ...

    Powerful and Exciting!

    I bought this DVD as a gift for my son. He LOVES this film and is VERY excited about receiving it! He is a HUGE Jack Nicholson fan, and also enjoys Michelle Pfeiffer's work as well. The acting combination is powerful! We highly recommend this movie!
