Microsoft's Kinect Joy Ride is one of the first retail releases for Xbox 360 to use the Kinect hands-free accessory system. The kart-style racing game is played through a controller-free interface that can sense motion, detect gestures, and pick up spoken commands. Virtual drivers steer and make their cars jump and slide by leaning, hopping, and twisting their bodies in front of the Kinect three-dimensional sensor device. A cooperative "Co-pilot" mode allows players to race as a team, and online competition for up to eight is available through Xbox Live. The exaggerated-action racing takes place through six powered-up courses in three themed worlds.

    My son got joy ride as a gift. He put it in the Xbox and didn't wanna stop playing. He loves the game.. My husband and I even played. Joy ride is a lot of fun for the family.

    Pure Family Fun

    The graphics are great and the kinect motion sensor keeps you on track with the game. It is a great way for me to exercise because you really have to get off the couch and get in to the game. My grandson enjoys it but I think his mom and grandma loved it a lot more. This is a game the whole family can enjoy and a great choice.
