    Great quality picture

    These old movies are really rejuvenated through great quality picture achieved through amazing restoration work. The amazing make-up work done for Boris Karloff in "The Mummy" for example, is something to behold. I could see every small wrinkles on the skin. The story of each movie, however, is told in rather slow pace. It maybe a bit too slow for today's audience including myself, which is why I gave 4 stars, not 5. But again the value of this collection is in its great quality picture. It's visually stunning. Highly recommended.

    Great restorations of horror classics

    These are very good quality restorations. I enjoy these movies, but I don’t love them enough to spend $100+ for the new 4k sets, so I was pleased to pay no more than $27 for a used blu ray collection, and have enjoyed watching the movies that paved the way for the modern horror movies I love.

    One of the best Box set that I have purchased in a very on time, The Greatest Monsters Movies Collections Perfect for a Saturday afternoon as I remember going to the Theaters to see these. All in High-Definition, the picture quality is stunning, Blu-ray. Universal added a very fine photo book of all the facts, and you cannot leave out the Movie Cards.Dracula, Mummy, Invisible Man, The Creature of the Black Lagoon, and of course Frankenstein, Bride of Frankenstein, we cannot leave out Wolf-man & Phantom of the Opera. All that you need is the popcorn. This is a great set, at a Great Price

    Universal classic monsters -all you could ever want!!!

    It has all the classic monster movies I wanted. It also has small cardboard movie posters and an informative booklet . Also each movie has info (on the disc) about the make up,the actor and more! The whole thing is super cool!
