    Logitech wire free Marathon Mouse

    Refurbished item, as good as new. Much cheaper than brand new. Fits nice into your hand comfortable to use. Laser pin point movement. four buttons and a scroll wheel. Make all your tailored functions very easy to operate with one hand. Batteries last THREE YEARS. Auto off when not moved, turns on again when you move it. All in all a good product, no down side I can find. Very Pleased.

    Functionality

    The product is well designed but It is quite sad that 50% of the functions do not work on Mac computers. The Logitech Manager software downloaded from the Logitech website cannot detect this mouse , although the mouse connected to computer. Hence, the correct settings impossible to make. The scrolling wheel works too fast that annoying.

    Good value and ergonomic.

    The mouse is comfortable to use (for right-handers) and has well-placed buttons for backwards and forwards when web browsing. It installs automatically in Windows 10, the supplied software is not essential but adds some refinement to the setup. The mouse can be used on a variety of surfaces, including fabrics, which is important when operating a laptop computer in locations other than on a desk with a mouse-mat. One slight problem is an occasional lag when the cursor does not move for a second or two. This also occurred with another mouse on the same PC, so is likely to be an issue with the operating system and hardware configuration, and not the mouse.     Wireless keyboard now works with this mouse and USB Transceiver.

    Had an Logitech M710 keyboard without usb transceiver. Paired it to the transceiver with no issues. Keyboard and mouse work well together. Too early to see real battery life, but from current usage mouse works well and has a positive action.

    Logitech 705 Marathon mouse

    The mouse has an impressive 3yr battery life, if logitech claims are anything to go by. This should still equate to about 12m battery life in real use. It has the usual array of buttons in addition forward and back browser buttons which are great and customisable for other apps including office apps, drawing apps etc. The other great feature is the freewheel option, the wheel has an option to be a clickable wheel or free running wheel at the touch of a button, this is great for rapidly moving to the end of a web page or document. Its also good value and feels comfortable in use. This model is for right handed users only
