Good price. Got a further 8% off. Top handle saw for just a little over £71. Unfortunately the saw would not run properly when out of the box. It would not idle when cold. It also would not throttle properly. Being familiar with chainsaws I knew how to adjust the mixtures......both high and low needed adjusted. However this is something which should not need doing. Someone new to chainsaws would struggle to get it working properly. Also be aware the chain is unique to this saw.

Great value for money. Not professional quality chainsaw though. Excellent instructions online, different from the ones in the box. Has safety features. Easy to start when warm. Takes 20 pulls when cold. Lightweight 4kg operating weight. Does the job when up a tree.

Great little saw, left it to add feedback so I can use it a few times. Chain blunts quickly in hard wood but on the 2nd chain and all good. Loads of power, light and love it. Will be looking for a bigger one to replace my other lead branded saw.....

    Good little saw.

I am an experienced professional chainsaw user, now retired. Honestly can't see how they can produce and market such a useful little saw for the price. Easy to assemble and starts well from cold as long as you follow the instructions. I've used it to reduce the height of a couple of tall hedges and small trees as well as cutting firewood for the woodburner and for restoring some neglected coppice. The saw works well although you need to check the chain tension regularly as it appears the chain is prone to coming loose. Sharpening file isn't worth using but you can buy a really good quality replacement one for under £2 at any good hire shop or garden machinery dealer (also available on eBay!). Don't expect Stihl or Husqvarna build quality but a perfectly functional saw and comes with a ...

    Disappointed

The instructions were sparse and virtually unreadable. I asked if there was a you tube video, got no response. Emailed again, then told an engineer would ring me. Never heard anything. Found a you tube for similar chainsaw which helped me but found it very difficult to set up without proper instructions. The chain continues to slip off regularly. This may be due to me not setting it up properly or a fault. With a lack of information I do not know which is true.

  • Another Parker Gem

Saw was put to use straight away hours after delivery. Simple to put together, although I know my way round a saw. The only thing I did was sharpen the dog spikes (very blunt and rounded), personal preference really, but handy in the wood I was climbing in. Works fine, no complaints at the price. Pull starter went limp a few times on max pull (jiggle about and the spring worked), got the feeling it wont last long. to be seen. Oil pump not amazing did have to check twice as the chain sounded dry, but it does oil. Ran a little fat out of the box, didn't effect use ran but a small tweek it was spot on. Two chains is nice, not sure of quality but sharp, done a couple of full tree limbing jobs already without re-sharpening. Nice light weight saw great for climbing especially a second or spare ...

  • Wow

Struggling to get my hands on a top handle saw I turned to ebay il be honest I had some doubts after using brand named big saws but I thought I would risk this as it was cheap and has a decent warranty so glad I bought this and didn't spend the money on a stihl well done parker I will be buying more of your products. First impressions were a little doubtful but I have tested this beast today and it is an animal perfect for real work this is more than a hobby saw

  • little ripper

Had mine for around 2 years use it for cutting fallen dead wood on a freands farm for fire wood, out the box it didnt run well at all as it wasnt anything like set up propaly but a little fettaling and a tune on the carb soon had it ripping!! it's now my go too saw as its so small and light my 62cc saw dosnt get a look in haha, For the price you cant realy go wrong you will need to tune it propaly out off the box, plenty of videos on line on how to do it, cut a ton off fire wood with it today alone so it prity much pays for it's self every time i go out for a load off wood!! would i buy another one? i wouldnt think twice about it!! and will if, when my one blows up.
