These truncheon are a must for any gardener who wishes to grow top shelf herbs, no guess work, just look after it properly and you can, t go wrong, a very accurate reading for the nutrients going into you're plants which can make all the difference, bluelab really are the best at providing top level equipment, I, d highly recommend it, unless you want a mediocre harvest, but I, d rather spend a little extra cash knowing my plants are getting exactly what they need. Quality and idiot-proof.
This is the most robust and simple to use EC tester out there and you can use it as a stirrer too! Just dip it in and it takes a reading; no buttons. Rinse under the tap and swill the probe in deionized water to remove dissolved solids, it should last a good long time. The lights are in 100ppm segments but when it alternately flashes between two readings it is the lowest reading plus 50ppm, so it is accurate to 50ppm on the 500 scale. There is a 500ppm and 700ppm scale and EC and CF, all instantly transferable; being printed on the truncheon.This is the most robust and simple to use EC tester out there and you can use it as a stirrer too!
