      Armeg 127 solid board cutter and covers.

      Cutter and covers are quite expensive, but boy does this save time and effort.....and it retains the structural strength of existing chipboard floors. I used it for routing 15mm Hep20 pipework beneath a bathroom floor. 127mm holes are large enough to allow reasonable access to work. Doesn't come with an arbour, which you need to buy separarely. I had a Starret arbour, that worked fine and used a DeWalt core drill (with clutch and side handle - recommended). Need to clear cutter teeth as you go, because they tend to clog. Cleaning them gives a better finish cut. Covers are heavy plastic and fit flush, but a little sloppy lateraly. I'm going to lay ply over, so may bed the covers on a little silicone sealant. All in all a good piece of kit, looks well made and I'm hoping it should last a ...

      These caps are a super way to access yoru flooring, especially chipboard floors. Easy to use and fit perfectly leaving a tidy finish. Future access is fully achievable.

      Perfect for modern chipboard floors

      These caps are really the only way to make access points in the floor of modern woodchip floors, i have used these a lot. The drill cutter you need to make the hole is not cheap but its a quick system that works well.
