Does the job - to a degree
Used it with CTX and 17" DD coil along the beach. It did help reduce the weight which is great. However, the padded strap that goes under the arm is not tapered so it isn't that comfortable. The small pad that places the sling over your shoulder isn't thick enough to do much. The sling places weight on your upper-back and shoulder, which after a few hours becomes uncomfortable too. It isn't so bad that it cannot be used, but it is something to consider. The strap is adjustable so as to make the coil swing above the ground, but I ended up reducing the strap length to minimum. Then on hillsides it was still too long, I collapsed the telescoping lower rod a bit. It is easier on the CTX just to slide the lower rod in or out as needed then mess with the strap length. If you really wanted to do it all out you'd get the frame design that puts the weight out further on an arm of the upper frame. I'm just not ready for such extreme measures.

Poor design
So uncomfortable I couldn’t wear it for 10 minutes. Puts the weight on your neck. The strap under your arm is too wide and is very uncomfortable. You have to take your glove off to work the small pinch buckle in order to remove the detector to lay it down. Just the worst design imaginable.

Good harness
This harness gets the job done. When set up and used correctly, loop up around the shoulder, strap goes across the upper back then over the other shoulder then connected to an upper part of your detector and adjusted to right size...Does a great job taking weight off so you can swing much longer without getting sore

This thing is a definitely a shoulder and elbow saver , very easy to adjust and it basically lets your detector float right in front of you with minimal effort to swing back and forth while detecting 🤓🤓 you can easily go all day and when your done for the day you have no aches or pains in your arm , I highly recommend and I just bought another for the wife also . 👌

especially good for people with wrists problems
I have carpal tunnel issues and this gives me many extra hours of hunt time each day. It is light weight and transfers all of your detector weight to your shoulder and makes you feel you are swinging almost nothing. also when you bend over to get your target out of the hole, the detector gently follows you to the ground.
