Longer Range
I have a Weston 670 22'motor cruiser on the Norfolk Broads which had a 12.5ltr fuel tank. My Tohatsu 15HP Outboard Engine consumes 2ltr's an hour, so therefore I only had a range of just over 6hours, which is nothing on the broads. The other problem was that the 12.5ltr tank had a two pole quick release fuel line plug, and I had to find the right tank for the job. After a lot of research I found that Quick Silver did a 25ltr version for a Mercury outboard, which had the same fuel line plug as my original tank. I bought two tanks, which would give me a range of around 21hrs, and with the quick release safety plug, I could quickly change tanks when required. As well as the quick release plugs, there is a fuel gauge situated on top of the tank, so you can see at a glance how much fuel is ... Hard wearing and the connectors and gauge work perfectly. They're the only tanks I'm comfortable with, plus easy enough to take away and fill up.
